Atlas Wealth Management Expands to Dubai

Atlas Wealth Management Expands to Dubai – Atlas Wealth Management, a global financial planning firm that specialises in providing financial advice to Australian expats in 28 countries, has today announced its plan to offer its specialist services from a new office that will be located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

The new Dubai office will be established to provide on the ground services for Australian expats who are not only located in Dubai but the wider Gulf region.

“We are very excited to take this next step in the evolution of Atlas Wealth Managements services by opening our first overseas office in Dubai” said Brett Evans, Managing Director (EMEA).

“The Gulf region has always been a significant jurisdiction for Atlas Wealth Management, with clients located in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar, and we are looking forward to getting boots on the ground to ensure that Australian expats are able to access compliant and customised financial advice that is specifically designed for Australians in the region”.

To date Atlas Wealth Management has received an “in-principle approval” from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and is working with the regulator to finalise the last remaining requirements to be granted a full license.

“The new office in Dubai is a testament to our commitment to the Australian diaspora when it comes to providing them world class financial advice” said James Ridley, Managing Director (APAC).

“With Australian and global regulations increasing at a rapid pace it is imperative that we position Atlas Wealth Management so that Australian expats can receive the specialised advice that they require to navigate the maze of financial requirements that have been thrust upon them”.

The new office will be managed by Brett Evans with James Ridley taking over as Managing Director of the Australian office.
