Expat Chat Episode 63 – Australian Tax Residency Change Petition
Welcome to the sixty third episode of #Expatchat where we discuss the latest tax and financial issues affecting an #Australianexpat.
In today’s Expat Chat we discuss the proposed tax residency change and how we need to band together as Australian expats by providing as loud a voice as possible to Canberra.
Most Australian expats are aware of the proposed tax residency rule change and the dreaded “45 day rule”.
We recently received approval for an official House of Representatives petition to amend the proposals and need your help.
We only have until the 5th of October to get as many signatures as possible and obviously the more signatures we have the more seriously this will be taken.
We don’t often ask of anything from our social media community but please share this post with as many people as possible and lets band together to make sure the Australian expat community voice is heard.
