Atlas Wealth Nominated in Four Categories in 2019 ifa Excellence Awards

Atlas Wealth Nominated in Four Categories in 2019 ifa Excellence Awards – for the fourth year in a row, Atlas Wealth Management has been nominated as a finalist in the 2019 ifa Excellence Awards.

Celebrating its sixth year, the ifa Excellence Awards is the pinnacle event for the nation’s independent financial advice sector, recognising the outstanding success of Australia’s independent and non-aligned advice community, including advisers, licensees, support staff and practices.

“Atlas Wealth Management has always been driven to provide world class financial advice to Australian expats all over the world and to be nominated as a finalist in four categories in the 2019 ifa Excellence Awards is affirmation that we are delivering on that goal” said James Ridley, Managing Director – APAC for Atlas Wealth Management.

“In a world that is becoming increasingly small for expats thanks to government efforts around the world to share data and change tax legislation, when delivering customised Australian expat financial advice, now more than ever, it is imperative that Australian expats have access to a specialist expat financial planner who understands their circumstances and is able to help them navigate the financial challenges they may face.”

The four categories that Atlas Wealth Management are nominated as a finalist for are:

  • Investment Adviser of the Year – James Ridley
  • Innovator of the Year – James Ridley
  • Best Client Servicing Individual of the Year – James Ridley
  • Practice Principal of the Year – Brett Evans

“As the leading provider of specialised Australian expat tax & financial planning services to the Australian expat community we understand how complex and difficult it maybe for Australian expats to move overseas and determine what the financial ramifications of that move maybe,” said Brett Evans, Managing Director – EMEA.

“With one Australian expat moving overseas every 1 minute and 53 seconds, it is imperative that we are there for them to ensure that their time away is beneficial both from a family and career standpoint, but also financially as well. Too many Australian expats return to Australia with very little to show for their time away, apart from photos and great stories.”

The winners will be announced at a five-star gala dinner on Friday, 6 September at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney.

“These finalists have not only survived one of the toughest years for the industry but they have thrived. They have created their own opportunities and will be the leaders of the industry moving forward. Congratulations to all the finalists, there were a lot of nominations and it came down to the wire for a lot of categories. Good luck and we look forward to seeing you all at the ceremony later this year,” said ifa editor James Mitchell.
