Ben Turner is the Managing Director of Atlas Tax and has two decades’ experience advising expatriates, senior executives and internationally mobile professionals on complex cross-border tax matters.

Ben began his career in Big 4 accounting and legal firms. He developed extensive experience advising clients on the Australian tax implications of international assignments, cross-border investments and expatriate tax obligations.

He works closely with both individual expatriates and multinational organisations. Particularly supporting Human Resources and Finance teams in addressing remuneration, mobility and tax issues affecting globally mobile workforces.

Ben is passionate about ensuring clients receive clear, practical advice that allows them to make confident tax decisions throughout their expatriate journey.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia, and currently serves as State Chair of the Tax Institute of Australia (SA). He regularly speaks at Tax Institute conferences on expatriate tax issues. Also he is a member of the Institute’s national Employment Taxes Committee.
